Channel & Partner Manager (Ref: 2180772)

Sensata Technologies is looking for Channel and Partner Manager to lead the successful execution of growth in our Smart & Connected growth initiative. Commercial Fleets are looking to gain additional insight that can assist them reduce costs, increase efficiency, improve uptime and/or enhance safety. As a Channel and Partner Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing strategy for growth and development opportunities with our channel and partners.

This is a unique opportunity to play a highly visible role and develop and execute on a key global growth initiative. The Channel and Partner Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, product management and engineering teams along with all levels of customers and partners.

This role reports to the Senior manager, Market Development (Smart & Connected) and the selected candidate will join a highly motivated team within a new venture organization at Sensata, charged with incubating new business opportunities.

  • The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
  • B.S. degree in engineering, business management or related field.  Technical degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in business creation or product/service/solution innovation. Ideal candidate will have experience with commercial fleets, telematics and/or commercial vehicle aftermarkets solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicle ecosystem combined with knowledge of IOT devices.
  • Strong understanding of fleet telematic systems and value proposition.
  • Experience with product development or new technology introduction
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment and deliver results despite the ambiguity and complexity typically associated with emerging markets
  • Demonstrated public speaking skills with the ability to exhibit executive presence and establish credibility with an audience
  • Structured thinking with analytical skills
  • Desire to make a significant impact in a high growth environment
  • Energetic, collaborative, self-motivated and autonomous
  • Willingness to travel as required in Europe
  • Strong computer skills
  •  This role will be based in Antrim or Hengelo
